Geekfest North Postponed

I have some sad news in the geek convention world. Geekfest North that was supposed to be held in Barrie, Ontario has been postponed to a later date. Geekfestnorth.com released this statement last week:

To all GeekFestNorth fans, It is with great regret that we are required to postpone the show at this time. To those of you that have shown your support to us and this event we are very grateful. We know that each of you are as passionate about this as we are. The Barrie and surrounding area fans deserve a great con - any feedback you can provide on making us better please let us know. We are working with our sponsors and vendors at this time to reschedule the event later this year and will update all of you with any information as it comes available. For those that have purchased tickets we will be issuing a full refund. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please keep an eye on any of our social media pages or our website for our new date. The GeekFestNorth Team

I apologize to all our followers that were hoping to attend and we hope they decide on a date fast because i would love to meet everyone ! We will keep you updated when we learn more.
