Ant-Man Animated Series Coming To Disney XD

Scott Lang, also known as the heroic Ant-Man is coming to Disney XD in the form of a series of six animated shorts. The animations will be small two minute long episodes. Ant-Man will join forces with Hope van Dyne as the Wasp and Hank Pym, the creator of the Ant-Man suit, to fight crime. Ant-Man will be voiced by Josh Keaton.

The animations were created by the independent Passion Pictures, who are more widely known for producing the Gorillaz music videos.

Scott Lang first appeared as the second superhero to use the name Ant-Man in The Avengers #181 comic book. He was a sporadic member of the Avengers in the comics, but really came into the spotlight with Marvel’s 2015 film Ant-Man.

The first three episodes, “Science Fair”, “Alien Invasion”, and “Soup Time” will air on Saturday, June 10 on Disney XD. The next three, “Exterminator,” “Proton Cube”, and “Not a Date,” will air on Sunday, June 11.
